Teams
In 2026 we are looking to field teams in the SANFL Juniors competition for children aged between 6 and 17 years old at 31 December 2025. Final teams will be subject to registration numbers and as in previous seasons, if your child doesn’t quite fit into the age brackets, we will liaise with the SANFL for permits to allow under and over age players to participate.
Coaches are being finalised, so if you are interested in an off-field role as coach, assistant coach or team manager please be in touch.
Playing fees for 2026 will likely be $230 (plus the Play HQ registration Fee) with a discount of $50 for siblings. The government Sports Voucher can be used and you can now use two per year so if you use both it is worth $200. Just choose the option when registering in Play HQ. Auskick
In 2026 we will also be holding multiple Auskick Clinics with dates to be confirmed . Kids without any footy experience will benefit from learning skills before playing in SANFL Juniors.
Senior Teams
In 2026 we are looking forward to build on 2024 and 2025 and form an even closer link between our Junior Bulldogs and the Senior players who have recruited well and are looking forward to another successful season in a higher grade. Some initiatives to expect are:
Assistance with the BBQ from senior players at all junior home games!
Combining of some committee roles which will ease the load of our parent volunteers
Promotion of parent/child Bulldogs ie those junior players who have had parents playing senior cricket, netball or football with the club
Redevelopment Update
Efforts for a new Building redevelopment are still ongoing and we have recently had some positive news with City of Adelaide allocating funds to assist with a Co-Funded new Building. A Builder will be announced soon and we hope to see some works starting in the early part of 2026.
