Hodgy’s 600th Goal for ALSC
A huge congratulations to Dave Hodges who racked up his 600th goal for the club on Saturday. If you were out for the early game, you may have thought you had gone back in time with the occasion bringing quite a few of his mates out of retirement for a kick. The named starting forward line had an average age of 40.8 with 1114 games, 1539 goals and 1765 B&F votes between them. Coming into the game sitting on 597, Hodgy got the job done quickly reaching the milestone in the first 10mins of the first quarter. He finished up on 7 goals for the game but it could easily have been a 10+ bag. Being the ultimate team man he has always been, he instead brought others into the game with at least 6 goal assists whilst also helping a couple of team mates to get their first goals for the club.
